Sincere Apologies

Well everyone, I am writing to apologize for my lack of support towards the team lately. I have not posted any benchmarks in what seems "too long" for me. I haven't posted hardly, haven't really been around or anything at all. Just lurking to kinda stay in the loop.

I've had a lot going on lately. My mom is getting operated in about 8 hours from now, so that has had me a bit busy preparing since she'll be away for about a week between the operation and recuperation and stuff. Other than that I've been working a bit more as there was a mandatory department class by my companies president. So I've been staying ab it after hours and stuff setting up a PowerPoint Presentation. There's a few other things going on but those pretty much sum it up.

I did receive my PSU back from RMA so I can bench, but I also need some RAM, I only have 2GB of RAM on the i7 right now and the computer is running at a snails pace, I have no idea why. So before I attempt anything I think I will either install XP or go grab a nice set of 3X1GB RAM. So lot's of little factors along with the big ones are holding me back from any benching right now.

Hope you guys understand and I will be back soon, hopefully soon! :toast:

Thanks man. Hopefully once my mom is back she'll feel a lot better and things will be better around the house. That'll relieve me of a lot of stress. I'm hopefully getting a lot of things that are overdue on my car done which was holding me back from hardware big time. With those things behind me I can focus on getting some BOINTS then and going from there. In the meantime I'm sidelined :(

Hey David.. hope your Mom does well. I just sent off my supertalent 3GB kit for RMA.. (a heatspreader popped off and ripped all the ICs off with it). When it comes back.. if you still need ram.. If you can wait 2 weeks, hold off on purchase... I will shoot it to you to abuse :)

only 3gb kit.. but gets you up and running for real:)

We all will be here and waiting, though I dont believe in God but I hope she recuperates quickly and gets back to her commanding self (thats how my mom is, and thats how I look at all Moms, :p)......See personal passion and hobby should come much later in the order of preference/importance when compared to your family, job and health......

Don't sweat the small stuff bro .....

The bot is entertaiment and nothing more, it has no real world importance.

I am sure your mom will pull through with flying colors and things will soon return to normal in your life ...

When they do then you can have some fun with us all. The Bot is not going anywhere and will be here upon your return to action.

good luck

Family first buddy. Overclocking is a cyclical thing. Sometimes you are in, other times out. I hope your mom turns out fine.

Could not agree more with the guys! Bench whenever you have time. Some of us have busy life's and kids etc. so there is not always time. I hope everything will goes OK with the surgery mate.
