i670 woes, dropping threads etc

Most frustrating chip to clock ever rofl

hits a wall at 27x211 anything higher freezes screen.
Max wprime is 27x207 or else it drops threads (anyone else get this?)

Hopefully it just wants more cold, this is at -130 btw. This cascade doesnt even budge more than 5c

If my Ln2 guy every calls back, I can see what my 670 will do.

Sounds like you need to give him a reach-around :ohcrap::laughing: Sucks if you lost that hookup

I'm applying gradual pressure build up like a withdrawal device would. Eventually pressure will reach a point of "Extortion"

my 660 would drop threads in wprime ... the solution in every case was more vcore

seriously, it would almost never blue screen but wprime would fail to finish all the threads. Bump the vcore and viola!

man, weird. I went up to 1.8v at 5.5 and still the same thing. Think it wants more cold

Dentlord 02-11-2010 01:44 PM

Thats exactly where my 660 topped out on dice, wprime at 4486 1.8v

I could spi above that but not wprime

Definitely more cold is what she needed....
