Bios date/time resetting

Anyone been having their bios date/time getting reset to factory lately?

1st two incidents occurred on my p55 setup. Had the bios date/time reset to factory.

Today, my 790i setup did the same thing. I'm wondering if its a common programming thing happening to people other than myself?

Not sure on the newer board, but have you put a battery in the old one?

battery would be the first thing to check. Go grab a new one.

That is weird, CMOS reset does not even change the time on my boards anymore :)

I did have an issue with Windows 7 and date time... but that might have been a PEBKAC not a software issue

PEBKAC!!!!

Yeah my systems seem to suffer from those errors quite a bit heh heh

Haven't run into this issue in pretty much EVER, let alone have two different generations do the same. All seems well now. I'll report back if its just Fermi jitters by the rigs.
