Komas contraptions

Hi folks. This place looks awesome. Make sure you thrive here, and have FUN!

Most of you probably know me from other places, so there isn't much need for a presentation. Still in my mid 30s, living in the arctic (Narvik, Norway) with my fiance and a kid (soon to be two).

Just shooting you a pic of my setup from this years winter forumwars. The best I could do with my current financial situation

With the window behind the shelf open, I managed to reach ambients of -6C for my runs, idling the E8400 at 4.7GHz@1.80V with core temps in the mid 40C. Just too bad this POS 780i board won't let me clock to the sky :rofl

Thanks for posting here koma. You are a madman for what you pull off with the hardware you have. You got some scores from that session?

Not much to brag about, but I bagged my forst sub-10sec superpi at 4.74GHz for the wars. Guess that was my best achievement. At least the one that made me most proud :D

Nope.. no free shipping
Winters aren't too bad. Just had incredible luck that spesific week. I generaly see temps in the 0 to -3C range, but during the first week of wars we had steady -10 to -14C. Good for clocks :p

Nope... I guess nothing will top it. Unless I against all ods should get a dice pot and some cool new hardware and grab 100+ globalpoints at the bot for one run :rofl
