Evga X-58 Classified 4-way 5870 overclocking

Threw the Asus 5870's on the Evga 4-way Classified E762 Motherboard. Initially I had some problems. Turned out that I had no paging file set on this Windows 7 32bit partition. Set page file, reboot, now it runs o.k.

First Vantage run:

Nice :)

You got 4 gpu pots laying around? lol

Gunslinger 12-19-2009 04:32 PM

Surely with the new 9.12's out, there's 40K in that set-up... :D

You're prolly right. Cept them pesky driver issues I been having. Maybe I need to install smart doctor.

Witchdoctor 12-20-2009 01:11 AM

Never had any luck with Smart doctor ...

But those clocks don't seem to bad for four cards .....

Maybe give three a shot may be able to get a little more out of them.

I have read the Multi card scaling is better with 9.12's but that is nothing I have personally been able to prove

CPU speed @ 4.8 to 5 I would hope gets you in that 40K realm .................:clapping:

In for the results .... good luck bro I am sure it is a blast playing with four of those beasts .....

thebanik 12-20-2009 06:03 PM

wow, thats some sick score for those clocks.....DICE DICE DICE on CPU and you are gonna get top notch boints.......

awesome runs Kal, I see some more potential in the near future of that setup :toast:
