Do you have a phase by any chance ?
Can't wait till you run a SuperPi 32M or wPrime 1024 :)

DrNip 07-17-2009 05:41 AM

Oh really...

Buckeye 07-17-2009 06:03 AM

Yes those two tests do take awhile on these chips :)
Thats why I asked if he had a phase.

I can see many medals being lost allready, of mine that is HAHA

Kal-EL 07-17-2009 07:24 AM

Nope, don't got a phase but I hear I'm gonna get one in a few months and it looks to be the mother of all Phazkerz.

I'm picking up a huge box of Dice today from my "Sponsor", lol, should count as phase, just gotta keep scooping or jack up the clocks to ludicrous speed.

HITandRUN 07-17-2009 04:56 PM

Yeah I love the P4 stuff! I have some benching coming up this weekend as a matter of fact. Which board are you using for this fun? I found the EP45T-UD3P a solid performer when benching the 775 P4's. Here is also a link to my LN2 benching thread at my home forum in case someone cares to check it out. :D

Kal-EL 07-17-2009 05:01 PM

Usin the Asus P4P800 Deluxe w/Dice. I'll care to check it out :D

Kal-EL 07-17-2009 06:11 PM

Can't get these stupid 3com drivers installed. Buckey Smoke Signal Activated!:flaminmad:

Buckeye 07-17-2009 07:00 PM

Just use the device manager. Select what has a "!" and say update drivers and point it to the CD.

There are some on the the CD that you will not need.

MaadDaawg 07-17-2009 07:08 PM

Hey Brudder, dat b a nice looking rack you got that board & pot sitting on top of :) Do you love it, or, do you love it ?? LOL

Looking forward to seeing what you get outta the P4, I got a couple laying around I might try on dice once I get through with the E8600 and the q2c ...

Kal-EL 07-17-2009 09:27 PM

Hey Daawg, stop checkin out my rig's rack, she's shy, LOL.

Buckeye, I pointed it to the cd but she's not having nutting to do with it. Grrrr, gotta go to work, will attempt slippery driver insertion tomorrow.

Buckeye 07-18-2009 04:24 AM

Can't remember... 3 Comm drivers are for sound or network ?

It's been awhile that I had that all up and running, trying to remember what those were for.

DrNip 07-18-2009 08:14 AM

Network.

Kal-EL 07-18-2009 08:19 AM

Yah, ethernet drivers not being found by the device install wizard. Anybody know what folder they need to be in, in the system files?

That is what nlite is for. Integrate service packs and crap all in one swoop. Then cut it down within an inch of its life. Then take the whopping 10 minutes it'll take to reinstall each time. cool2

Honestly though, I'm lazy too and just started benching w/o internet. I can thank crio and his uber 01 scores for making me less lazy and actually nliting my OS. :clapping:

Ya just like your check too :rofl:rofl

You want a copy for real? I still need to find more things to cut out. Right now I'm at 190mb on my copy w/o internet. I wanna have it around 100mb flat in the end. I just gotta figure out what benches like what tweaks so I can have one for each bench ready to install.

Kal-EL 07-18-2009 08:52 AM

SO we're talking what? x-mas then? ohcrap

DrNip 07-18-2009 08:53 AM

I'll second the rep points. I already sent you one stripped version though. From doing some reading though. Different benches like different tweaks/services. I can send you a copy of what I used for 01 if you'd like??? I really wanna make one for super pi. to_keep_order

Kal-EL 07-18-2009 09:04 AM

O.k. wenches, send me ur best of breed bench os's and label them accordingly so I know which is which. I'll then host them on the site server for Hwbot Members and Premium Subscribers to download as they wish.

Chuchnit 07-18-2009 09:05 AM

I'll get them in the mail buddy ;)

Buckeye 07-18-2009 09:25 AM

If I used a D-Link Wireless adapter and used the driver for those then I didn't use the 3 Com drivers ?

That's a great idea! This way everybody can brainstorm a copy and see what else needs to be cut out!

Use the ASUS OC Utility thats on the disk. You can change vcore and FSB with that. I did not use SetFSB at all.

The PCMark05 screen is from a different chip but you can see the OC utility there.
