Not sure if anyone would be interested in the Team Cup on the bot, but here is what we have going on so far.
When someone posts a score I will update this post (I'll try) daily with the score number and such.
I will be picking up a 2600k and a z77 in the next few days and see what I can do

Trying to get my head back into overclocking again, thinking about starting with something slow, small and something i've done before like a Socket A or 775/771 since I have a lot of those chips. since I've been out of the game for so long, I don't want to jump right into my 4790 or even my 2600/3770.

thats it I need to be benching again.

HWBot's annual event pretty much team vs team on random ass hardware :shock: in a way i am kinda wondering which genius came up with all those stages lol its really funny and super random

went picked up a motherboard today with in a few mins getting it hooked up it smoked... sigh... i think the universe is trying to tell me something...

Explain what kinda air you using cuz damn thats a bit fastzorz.

Just ambient with a Prolimatech Megahalems cooler. This chip has laid dormant at 4.2ghz for about 4 years now as my 24/7 setup. Its time to push the cold and voltage. Degrading time :)

LO. I normally run a second psu to handle all the extra hardware. Fans, pumps, drives, ect.... I only use the beefier psu for board and gpu.

received suggestion: you can only use a 9 volt battery with a step down to 5v for peripherals, once the battery dies your overclocking session is concluded.

Tried like hell to break into the top 10 on 2600k hwbot prime... Guess I'm gonna have to settle for 11th.

Finally got XTU to run with Sandy. Seems like the latest version will not work with on some older platforms. One must run v5.2.0.14 for XTU to run with 2600k.
