Corsair TX 750 JUNK!

Have to say this ran fine for a while(a few months), right now it has me pulling my fawking hair out(wat little I have left!):Dizzy:.
Not sure why, I thought it was my motherboard so I got ride of it, new CPU, new main board, new memory. I've lost a good SSD as well. Still this unit throws fits, is intermittent and I'm at the end of my string. I assume it has to do with the junk ass SILENT FAN, the unit shuts off for no apparent reason hard locks as well.
I'm contacting Corsair and this is my last Corsair anything, as I was in the market anyway for another benching PSU. Corsair is off my list. This IS/WAS my back up unit now the OS is borked main SSD gone and I'm feeling pretty piss poor............ :morpheus:

Yeah I have the same thing on my bench it works great, the 750TX has a silent fan I think that is part of the issue...............

Witchdoctor 03-20-2014 11:31 AM

I just installed a silent psu in a rig I built for someone. I could never figure out why they even put a fing fan on them. It never runs. Total junk for benching.

PhIlLy ChEeSe 03-25-2014 12:39 PM

I know, but my back up isn't benching but has 2 GTX 580's in it(soon to be 2 7970's):ohcrap:

I seen postings saying EVGA PSU are just re branded units from other makers?

I have bought several things there without a problem, never had to do a return so I can not vouch for the return policy, but eVGA support is solid

Thats true of most power supplies, unless you are buying PSUs from companies you probably never heard from (Channelwell comes to mind as a good company that earlier EVGA PSUs were based on).
