My Rigs
:D
Lighting sucked, so pics not great, but... On the left: Vintage Fender Stratocaster I've owned since early 80s Middle: Epiphone ES 355. Getting gutted next week and all electronics replaced with vintage Gibson electronics :) On the Right: Gibson SG Standard with coil splitting humbuckers... saweet :cool3: [IMG]http://imageshack.us/a/img716/1931/newrigs.jpg Thinking I may have hung em too high :( A Gibson ES 355 goes for about $4100  The Epi version was $700 and I bought another $400 in parts - it'll be a Gibson in all but name... and umm.. value of course :P |

Smoke on the Water is the first tune every kid that got a guitar in our era learned. Your 60 you should be awesome at it. How about some Lynard Skynard?

yea Eddie Van Halen is notorious for those rippin licks. What a guitarist. had a lead guitarist in our band back in the day that could just rip him off so good you'd swear Eddie was right there.
Umm Philly....The Doors are legends to the extreme. Jim Morrison ftw. |
Quote:
IIRC Smoke on the water came out when I was in college  Lynard Skinner isn't difficult except using only 1 guitar player it don't quite sound the same. Maybe when i get the recording stuff and the looper hooked up.. maybe  Doors are easy... eVh, ain't going there lol |
Did you hear how MOrrison died? According to Mick Fleetwood, he spent the night fucking some groupie then locked here naked in the closet and went out and partied all day. When he came back later that night and remembered to let her out, she was so pissed she stabbed him to death. They put him in the bathtub as part of the coverup

Mostly lived with my dad when I was a kid, and he lived in a time warp, so it kinda soaked in. People say Elvis was the king of rock and roll, but he wasn't. IMO, Chuck Berry was. |
hey um...
MD, i forgot what i came here to say anymore but here is two video for you... |
When I was 19, I had a 69 Camaro SS with the HiPerf 375HP 396, that I had completely modified to somewhere around 500HP. L88 cam, solid lifters, 4:56 rear end, polished ports, the whole 9 yards.
I picked up a girl at the local McDonalds one night and took her out for a ride. The whole time she kept talking about how she liked little sports cars, like the MG, better than muscle cars. Finally, I had had enough. I turned onto this deserted road I knew that ran parallel to a major thoroughfar, stopped the car, turned off the headlights, wound up the engine and dropped it into gear. She SCREAMED her ass off all the way up to 100+ mph  I enjoyed every second of it, but unfortunately her tits didn't fall out of her top :wtfsign: Drove back to the McDonalds and threw her ass out of my car. Never saw her again :D nice vids kiki, thanks ;) |
McDonalds? that's a wrong place to pick up chicks dude!
but yeah...... 69 SS is my fav year of all time! |
back then Kiki, McDonald's was THE place to pic up chics lol
|
