i havent had time to bench maybe this weekend got the rad in the ice chest for for some icy water gpu cooling :D

Me testing 2600K's too. Got a chip very slightly better than my last one, can do around 5660 Mhz, so is only around 50Mhz best than my previous best. Waiting for some1 to sell CUII or buy a lightning, then put them under LN2, :D.

Made some submissions the other day. I've got a 480 lightning and a Duniek slim on the way! Should be good for a few boints...

fail sauce, 1627core direct CUII wont run 03 even passed 1150mhz anymore lol! Not a bad mount either, thing was tearing through ln2 stop pouring for 1 second on the fattie it was heat 2 degrees. I dont blame it for losing its speed though. These are just meant as a reference design replacement :) She lived a good fast life, now its time for the retirement home to play bingo on thursdays.

Lightning inbound, will probably snage a matrix as well when they drop :)

Question, isn't there a version of afterburner unlocked for the 480 seris card? and does it work with a lightning?

three dizzle, yes there are unlocked AB's check our FTP or search for afterburners with an X after the revision :) IE 2.10x 1.55x I think there is one called MAB on the ftp and that one should work with 480 lightning

well sandy suckage friday commenced this morning 2 chips both max at 52 rofl! 3rd chip is very strange. 18c ambient and core temp is showing 21c idle in winxp @ 1.55v 2c2t lol! Max temps running 32m is 48c and this is just on a venomous air cooler. Cold be temp sensors on chip are fubared but realtemp worked perfectly fine with the other 2. both sat at 35c idle at those volts.... x54 so far

In ABX there's a voltage tuner for Aux voltage, what does it apply to?
I noticed when benching with the 480 from 950mhz core and up my screen will flash with odd shaped stars, is that normal. No I wasn't smoking anything while benching haha...

First go at DICE on 480 lightning results spent most of the time prepping. At 1000 mhz core started hitting OCP or OVP but couldn't flip the switches without removing armaflex :blush:

Thanks WD, ran the card on default switches. Can't believe how much heat the gpu gives off, putting my slim pot to the test for sure.

lightning gtx-580 has landed :D
