Nice man!

DrNip 01-05-2011 09:58 AM

I seriously hope these aren't the prices sellers are going to come with on launch date! Hopefully this is a gimmick to make Micro Center look as though they are offering a great deal when in reality the price of the 2600k should be $315 or so. At least that is the price I have been reading across the web.

Not sure but MC had the inside on the i7 900 series for sure

still can get 930's for $ 179.99 and 950 for 199.99

Who knows though :Dizzy:

Initial thoughts are if sales is brisk they will jack um up accordingly

DrNip 01-05-2011 10:47 AM

I already know. I fear these will be the prices for a bit in time.

Neuromancer 01-05-2011 11:53 AM

Yup, MC has great deals on Intel chips.

Nip, why does lower prices hurt you?

DrNip 01-05-2011 03:40 PM

They don't hurt me. $279.99 is a good price. I just don't like how they are advertising it for $369.99 and saying you are getting $90 instant savings when the chip retails for $315 or so. Of course this might be a steal of a deal as I have yet to see what other places are going to sell it for. Either way I'm in on the deal. :D

OC Maximus 01-05-2011 03:46 PM

Wish I could get one for that price. I'm gonna have to wait till the 15th anyway and will probably have to order from Newegg.

OCM

DrNip 01-05-2011 05:09 PM

Hopefully picking mine up Sunday if in stock. New case is showing up Friday. Rest of the hardware has to wait until 2/1/2011 when my homeboy pays me for the hardware I sold him.

ReverendMaynard 01-06-2011 04:14 AM

would love a 950 for 199 bones WD, can you hook a brother up? CAD is above USD right now and 950's are still over 3 bills here.

Check that, 350 before our lovely 13% tax.

No sweat, PM sent ...............

ReverendMaynard 01-06-2011 05:26 AM

Nice, thanks allot brother. Our prices are sheer rape, anyone wonder why Canadian's aren't more active in this hobby......we're paying over 30% more for the same stuff.

Witchdoctor 01-06-2011 05:35 AM

Total BS, is it a vendor thing or a Government thing ?

Can't figure our why it costs less for me to ship to California than it does to Ontario :Dizzy:

it's a quarter of the distance ?

LOL ................

Last time I shipped to the Rev it was a rack .... it was like 60 bucks or something

a CPU .... yea I would use a flat rate box. but is changes once you ship out of the states ....

DrNip 01-06-2011 07:06 AM

If you ship to Canada or vise versa there is a customs charge or at least there was for me when I shipped there.
