Far as the AQ3 fix, I dunno, looks pretty exclusive to the Red Team's issues with benchmarks and certain games. Why don't they just make drivers that work with everything? |
Holy Shit!!! 280 thousand somethin on aquamark!!! Very nice. Do some of those rivatuner tweaks that chucnit posted as it is easy and I gain a a few more hundred points on my 05 when I did it on that and my 8600 run. I haven't even checked the Bot yet, I bet you picked up some nice points. I'm glad to see us gettin back into our roots, OVERCLOCKIN!!!

You got to get you a i7 bro as I can't believe how high they are scoring now and I got to get me some newer gpu's as we are getting molywhoped by them in aquamark! :D Still nice runs though! |
These GTX 285's arn't overclocking well on air but that could be because they need re-timming or because they are already modestly overclocked ssc versions. Either way, if I can get them to clock up nicely, they should pwn some scores. 28k in 3dmark06 at stock gpu clocks aint too shabby either.
A single 9800gx2 breaks 300k in AQ3 and I'm really curious how this card will do in single mode and a nice overclock with the qx9650 @ 5333 mhz. LN2 is a must do priority right now :D |
No that ain't to shabby as my 260's overclocked it 28k somethin. Going to save up for some 4890's I think.

For dice, yah, I flashed to the p08 bios and things settled down and got a bit more stable. I've been tweaking for a bit now, still testing the new bios out.

These cards suck cat-ballz on air, they're getting packed up and shipped out to V2_V3 for volt mods. When they return they will be punished for their insulance on air.

Nice runs buddy. Keep pushing. Make sure to pwn up [p]'s little challenge too. I think I've got some backups that will/should last me a couple weeks or so. The only thing that worries me is a good clocking gtx285

Yes, in most cases you are simply lessening the resistance and increasing the voltage using a variable resistor. Soldering points are mapped out as well as voltage read points. I"m a noob myself at it. I'm sure V2_V3 is gonna put up a more detailed how to guide.

I'm gonna practice on a cheapo 50 bucks gpu so that if I kill it, its not that big of a dealio. I've got huge paws so its prolly harder for us bigger guys.
