Honda went overboard and underboard it seems, lol. Good luck fellars.

Hondacity 08-27-2010 08:53 AM

2 ram sticks degraded....board totally vaselinated....

2sets of rams to go thru still...

this cpu scales with cold..235mhz bclk is doable...

rickss69 08-27-2010 09:00 AM

I'm done - You have any submissions yet?

Cecil 08-27-2010 11:18 AM

Ive though about getting one of these, how high do you think they would go with a 750 for daily use?

Crazy stuff for a mITX Honda

Hondacity 08-27-2010 12:15 PM

@ricks no subzero yet..1st set of rams degraded

@cecil this 875 can do 200-220 bclk on air...chip is hot..idles around 39c loads @ 70....ht-disabled...

vid 1.245v ...

not sure what the max multi of the 750.but 200-220bclk might be doable...

I was reading that Gig doesnt recomend more then about 120watts or something 24/7 without risking the vregs burning up.

For contest yes, but Im considering it for a micro sized daily gamer

rickss69 08-27-2010 06:29 PM

Did this with the 750 on TEC with no sweat Cecil... http://hwbot.org/community/submissio...in_41sec_658ms

Hondacity 08-27-2010 10:17 PM

the mosfets i think are rated 35w so 140w should be ok....

also adding heatsinks will help too

2nd set of rams suck big time....

3rd set tomorrow...

these asus guys are awesome....

Wish you the best of luck with the board, it's just amazing! Max 32M benchable for my i7 860 on Maximus III Formula was around 4980MHz (on SS), and I managed 4930MHz with the Giga board. 235MHz bclk 32M benchable with the SS was fairly easy - topped out at 242.

Hondacity 08-30-2010 10:50 AM

i tried other os...i couldn't get the 4ghz run to go below 9minutes...

wish i studied sp2 and sp3 and all the other tweaks...for windows..

i finally decided to stick with our "chuch xp" os ....i got 40liters and 12hrs to tweak hehehe
