480, 5870 Lightning, 275 lightning, 8800 GTS 512.......all 4 of these are gold worthy if I ever find a CPU that can rise to the task (and maybe get somewhere in 2D realm).

Hope it happens in August.

Got my 980X from RMA(have XPower and Classified to test it on), i5 680 from Splave(have UD4P and G80), Got GPU Pot for 480GTX, though met with a small accident, right hand not usable sort of for a week or so, after that hoping to do some damage.....

aah!!!! freak accident I wud say, was planning to have a nice evening but Beer not good for my health, :blush:, had a few beer bottles in freezer, they broke inside it, was removing it when the bottle came completely apart and was falling, tried to use my right hand to stop the glass from falling, and cut my nerve in the right hand palm....blood gushed out like anything, lost almost 2-3 litres of it. 12 stitches, though all this was around a week back, its healing but still cant tilt a dewar yet....

so are those b-stock 8800gts 320 640mb cards any good from evga ? im thinking of getting one of each and volt modding them but wanted to know if there any good with the extra volts ?

Let the Ambush in August comence .... will be working the kinks out of the 960 on the SS this week for some weekend dice action .... grabbing 40 to 50 Pounds Saturday morning and going till it's gone .... 2D up first followed by what ever 3D I can get in as well

but im trading my e6400 and 2x2gb ocz ram on dont use for the 9800gt + $40 for me but i know the 8600gt has more points so idk to ask if he would trade the 8600gt and +$60

you can get 8600GT for next to nothing .... just look around a bit

i got me 8800GTS 320&640 and made a loop for single gpu today cuz i only have one gpu block

My 960 sucks ...................... :shock:

POS can't even carry the tool box of my old (B) batch 920)

hitting the wall @ only 4.958 Ghz .... running -44.5C

Pretty much treating it like the 920 and only 2:8 divider so the memory is not even being pushed ....

Played with it for about 3 hours yesterday .... was unable to outdue my 920 on SPI and PI fast .... but hoping for more clock ... hoping to get some settings dialed in by weeks end or my Saturday dice session will need to be moved back :ohcrap:

what am I missing to all you 960 owners out there ?

How does this chip besides the multi and it being a Vcore slut differ from the 920 ?

my evga was capped @ 4.9ghz before i realized the mobo had bad condensation at the back...

higher multi higher voltage

i would try the higher multi my 920 can get 5+GHz on the ss but only in slow mode

you arn't kiding my friend 1.56 to boot at 4.75 ....

1.58 for 4.9 .....

afraid to put 1.6 in it as I can ill afford to lose a $ 539.99 chip ......... :shock:

may roll with 1.61 on Dice and see what happens .....

Impossible on my set up .... did pull the chilly three times to make sure I was getting good contact and to see if any water or ice was forming in the socket ....

not even a drop or crystal .... I wish there were as that would be easier to fix than just a lame ass 500 $$$ A batch POS intel carbon copy hunk of effin crap that my old e8600 could eat for lunch ... ....
