Should HWBot be divided into a two class structure?
 

I do not belong to that forum ... so I can't vote.

But I say no, One is good enough.

Again, the other day has tught me a lesson.... I am just going to bench because it is what I like to do with my spare time.....

Let the points fall where they may. I no longer hold any regaurd for the ranking system there and have no asperations to be a sponcered overclocker. I pick out my hardware 100% based on the best return for the team as a whole.

in a race....i wouldn't want to race againts f1 cars .... all i can afford is a nissan gtr...

i do spend shitloads too..and i'm 100% sponsor free....

so i voted yes...its will be hwbot's biggest change.....with thousands of members ...only a handful are sponsored...

the sponsor free guys shall have fun competing....

I know I'm always in the minority with this opinion, but I voted no.

There's no tangible benefit for anyone in a split. There's no money to support the concept of a "professional". And why would I want any awesome scores I obtain to be buried off behind some link to the "amateur league"?

Hwbot is already set up to reward hard work and skill with the nissan gtr's. That's what hardware trophies and points are for.

You can't loose with that attitude buddy. I don't really care what they do. I am gonna bench when I get the free time to bench. I will push it as hard as I can when I do and I will take enjoyment in passing everyone I can pass in ranking with my given hardware.

You and Patch bring up a good point. How many regular guys are going to want in the pro league if they do split? I'm sure there are plenty of guys that only want to play with the big boys.

yeah I agree with patch, they do cater to HW bointers as well as the global guys with the HW point standings as well. :) KISS

Voted NO because there is no way of controlling anything there. They are in trouble of controlling submission as it is. I think we leave it as it is and just bench like we did until now. :thumbsup:

I don't care what they do anymore. The only thing I care about is squeezing the last ounce of performance I can out of every piece of hardware I touch. :)

Let me clarify don't care for you then. I don't care if hwbot stays how it is or if it splits. I still have this amazing team that I am a part of. No other team is tighter than this team, and I would go as far as to say that no other team is as dedicated in every way. Especially to each other.

If it stays how it is, then great. We have more benchers than you can count on one hand that pwn *some* pros every week. That is awesome! If it splits then OCA is gonna own the joe's league without a doubt. Awesome again. So in other words, as long as we continue to be the tight knit team we are, I don't care what hwbot does cause it's a win-win for us :D

What we need to focus on as a team, and I hope this happens, is improving ourselves and our teammates every day. Part of that includes owning hwbot so no I in no way am saying f(l)uck the bot. I am saying lets continue to do what we have been doing for so long, keep improving, and quit getting sidetracked in the drama. :thumbsup:

Agreed! I bench because this is what I like to do when I have free time. YES i like to compete as well but I know my goals and dont get too pissed if I cant beat some sponsored noob which has a tray of engineering samples to choose from.

I don't even care about the ES crap anymore. When I get time to bench I find my targets of the day at hwbot and gun for them. I love the competition. That's how I got addicted to overclocking, and getting caught up in the drama almost ruined for me. I see it happening to others too. I'm just focusing on the competitive and teamwork side now. They can do what they wish. I'm still gonna gun for them :D

Now that all the mods are public, I see this happening again :D That's nothing to sneeze at and shows what we are capable of. I voted no. Seems like a quick fix to a larger problem. Our top guys here can dance with any sponsored participant, why take away the reward and joy in taking them down systematically?

as a team? i care for the team..but i care for others too...i mean i learn from others like hipro...shammy and the good overclocking guys...

overclocking for me is learning...from every possible angle...

in an overclocking community you just can't think of your own team...thats why its called "community" a collective group for something..

i know you post in other forums ...why because you function as part of the community...its just natural...they overclock..and you give them merit because you overclock as well..

Honda I care for the community at large too bud. That's why we push fostering the fever. The community needs to be nortured to grow. So I do care about the community, but this thread is about hwbot and therefore is concerning this team.

I like being an underdog plain and simple, I can bitch about ES and give myself excuses or do the best I can with what I have and be pretty damn succesful in this sport :) the way it is now I know I will never be in first place or the top 10 even unless a miracle happens and it used to be hard to accept that in my thick skull but it is what it is.
