One thing I noticed mounting the Fatboy is that the square which contacts the core is a little more raised than the slims.
The first time I mounted there was a gap all the way around. Just use a thicker layer of eraser around the core, or do what I did and make a "gasket" of armaflex tape around the core on top of the eraser where the Tek will be, so it seals to the Tek insulation. |
Roll me up one of them Fattys, my 8800gt would luv it lol

More pics mounted on the Fermi ;)
Yes the green hot glue is nasty looking, and there is more armaflex under the gaps in the back. She's ready to rock, just need cold sauce now :D http://overclockaholics.com/forums/a...1&d=1273102843 http://overclockaholics.com/forums/a...1&d=1273102843 |

awesome! so the frost king, I imagine you wrap it around and have the seem meet in the middle on the backside or on the side where you armaflex saddle to kinda tape it up?
PS you cant feel the weight in quality in pictures you have to hold one  |
I cut a pattern with one big piece of frost king so there is only one joint, and where theree is no armaflex over it, I super glue the joint so its nice and sealed.
Super glue is friggin wonderful when insulating for sealing like that, another tip from Rom lol |
Splig, you wanna take pics as you follow these tips? It would be helpful to VGA pot nubs like myself.

I just got something that would suit that pot nicely. This tank cost me $2.00 more than Airgas and its a 230 not a 160 and its freakin full.
