Well I'm thinking a bench that has to level the playing field. Maybe 01 or 03. I'll let you pick your poison. No multi-core optimized benches such as 05, 06, or vantage.

Rules:
-All runs MUST have a valid ORB link & a screen shot. HWBOT rules for screenies should suffice.
-4300mhz TOPS
-OS of your choice
-Dual video cards - My aircooled 4870's against your chiller cooled Ultras
-Any tweaks go
-I say starting 12 midnight HI time March 10 thru 12 midnight March 17. This gives us working overclockers time to actually do some runs :rofl

I'm cool with the cap. I don't know what the punishment was as I couldn't find it. You should also throw aquamark3 in there. Definitely no 05, 06 or Vantage runs as he would wipe our asses with his quad. I've been wanting to try out that new voltage tuner as well as precision 1.51. One of my cards clocks better than the other and with the new precision I'll be able to take advantage of that.

I'm game for Aquamark, but my cards are gonna suck at it. Hell with CAT 9.1 I couldn't even get it to finish running??

Wiping my becnhin hdd and installing xp so I can have a lil fun tonight. Now where's those 260's at?

EDIT: Was looking at my 03 run and noticed it didn't run the last few audio test. Scratched my head and then realized I did all this runs without the chipset, ethernet, audio and whatever else drivers that are on the mobo CD!

Screw it supes. I thought I'd have a little advantage, but not that much. I'm only on air for the moment so that's why I wanted a cap. I say anything goes minus dice cause I in no way have time for that right now. In other words run what ya brung :confused:

I'll should post some prelim runs this morning. I was supposed to have today off, but I gotta work. Tomorrow I have all evening for tweaking. :)

Ya I say we add either 05, or 06 to give supes the cpu advantage and keep the mhz cap, or just say screw it and run what ya brung :confused: Of course that would need to leave out multi-threaded benches so we don't look like girls.

I wanna see some stock score front to back 3d01-06-Vantage.

I will kick out some stock runs when I get home so we can see who has the advantage. I can tell you right now he will as his cards are slightly faster. I thought my RAM would have gave me the advantage in this competition but I opened my big mouth awhile back and gave out my diamond in the rough Crucial's as he has a set now. I ain't scared.

It'll be interesting to see a side by side comparison, well, semi-side by side anyways.

OK here is a quick run @ 4300mhz. I didn't have time to really tweak my settings. I got plenty left in my top card. I just need to find out what my bottom card likes.
