Hello brothers and friends. I want to apologize for my absence of late. I have been working on a new website. This site is designed to showcase all of the talent we have here at OCA as well as over at NBOC. Both Gunbo and Kal-EL have been very cool and allowed me to link these sites together. The blog format should allow authors and their contributions to stay on the surface, in easy to access levels. I want to increase our overall exposure to manufacturers as well as new up-and-coming talent. All active hwbot team members who are interested, please contact me asap regarding usernames and passwords. I will be glad to go over the basic technique of posting and image posting to get this ball rolling. Heres the link, please let me know what you think of the site, suggestions welcome. I think anyone on the edge with goals of taking their hobby towards sponsorship,.... as well as those of us who are pushing the extreme envelope on the bot, the wormhole might be a great venue for them. Anshel, Romdominance is the complete opposite of Enjoy and has created his lil worm hole with nuttin but good intentions. I dunno if you intended on being soooo offensive but comparing the worm hole to techreaction isn't fair in this instance. I for one support all enthusiast sites that arnt run by asshats. Hence bright side is still stickied on this forums news section.

I am sorry if some of our intentions were lost in translation :shock:, lol. The wormhole is not an overclocking site, its an overclocker site. I see my brothers at NBOC and OCA (and many other places as well) doing amazing things with their pc components, and I wanted to create a venue where they could write about it and perhaps attract some positive comercial attention.....with the added perk of helping along & perhaps attracting new talent to their teams.
Anyone with a helpful "team" disposition, who belongs to a bot team and is pushing the envelope, is welcome. Think of the wormhole as a collective of the worlds finest oc'ers creating a knowledge base together. I know that the admins of the second and third best teams in the U.S. can see this site's value, I hope everyone else will too. On a side note, I would like to add that Enjoy did a fantastic job with wordpress on his site (if he didn't hire someone to do it), the site looks amazing. I will be improving the wormhole on a daily basis. |
So would someone like myself be eligible? Or is it only for NBOC/OCA guys

Site looks interesting, little flashy for me, if its an info site, info should probably be on the home page, even a panel with just a list of headlines would add to the home page :) I realize it is not flooded with information yet, and websites are living things that evolve and grow. Thanks for your input Nuero. I do think that a revolving short list of contributers vs headlines might be a great addition to the splash page. Prolly be good to wait a bit and see who really knocks em out of the park, should be awesome to watch.
In regards to sidewinder, my bro Supes has always had a link to them here under vendors, to the best of my knowledge. Its just a great place for parts imo, so I share my appreciation with them as the little guy doin it right.:) |
Sidewinders is top notch and you can count on them if something were to go wrong with your order whether it is on your end or their end. That's why they are up in the sidebar. I wish everybody did business like them.

Me thinks there may need to be a tinsy bit more contrast on the lettering in the boxes at the bottom of the page. Minor critism ;)

Hey I think the splash page is finally finished. Let me know what you guys think.
This weekend we will get a name in place of index, work out a few more kinks in the blog and get some real content rolling. If you have a second, check out the warbird thread under rigs and racks....I think that will be close to our normal content look with thumbnails....just need to get them working, lol. The good news is, we finally got that big job we have been waiting on for almost a year now. Looks like I am back in the gainfully employed majority again.
Got the banchetto, the new dom gt's and the second turbo cool 1200 ready....just need to pick up another 920do, 760 classy and some wc stuff and you will get your wish my brother!
