 WPrime Benchmark Thread Hello there, I was wondering if you guys in here can throw in some of your results for wPrime. Only the 32m benchmark please :) This benchmark seems to scale AMD and Intel chips a lot better than Super Pi does. For those of you that don't have this benchmark, get it here: http://www.wprime.net/ - Please download version 1.55, runs with any other versions will not be added. Thank you. RULES: CPU-z and the Wprime window have to be in the screenshot. Also, post what method of cooling you were using during that run. Quad Core with HT Gutterz - (LN2) Core i7 960 5511 MHz - 4.406 Kal-EL - (DICE) Xeon W3570 5123 MHz - 4.671 sec. thebanik - (DICE) Core i7 950 5047 MHz - 4.750 ReverendMaynard - (DICE) Core i7 920 5090 MHz - 4.765 Witchdoctor - (SS) Core i7 920 4964 MHz - 4.812 ocgmj- (SS) Core i7 920 4902 MHz - 4.874 Gutterz - (Water) Core i7 920 4808 MHz - 4.891 rickss69 - (SS) Core i7 950 4945 MHz - 5.000 joe90br - (Air) Xeon W3520 - 4637 MHz - 5.187 Chicken Patty - (Air) Core i7 920 4629 MHz - 5.247 69_Goat - (Water) Core i7 920 4552 MHz - 5.265 DrNip - (Air) Core i7 920 4504 MHz - 5.544 Neuromancer - (Air) Phenom II 550 BE 3910 MHz - 9.438 Neuromancer - (Air) Phenom II 920 3892 MHz - 9.500 Quad Core without HT Kal-EL - (DICE) Core 2 Quad QX9650 5334 MHz - 7.296 sec. rickss69 - (SS) Phenom II 550BE 4410 MHz - 8.580 |

CP, might be easier for the lazy surfers if you just embed the screenies in ur posts. Unless ur just tryin to pump traffic over to techpowerup's forums from here which is fine. Also, do you prefer to run the server intended version of wprime (2.0). Most of us run the hwbot standard wprime 1.5 for single socket desktop rigs. Cooling = Thor's Hammer next to the a/c unit blowing atop the heatfins. http://www.overclockaholics.com/Kal/TEMP/wprime32m.jpg |

Great competition guys, this thread was a big success over at TPU, and over here it's heading the same way. It's such a fun benchmark IMO. Hey Rick, what was the clock on that last run, 4410 MHz? |
|
Well this isn't anything to wrtie home about as I am on break from any and all extreme benching. Just a lil o 4.315ghz run on air. http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j..._wprime32m.png |

Here is a lil better OC and run. I will keep chiseling away at it on air. Too bad I am on Windows 7 or it would be a lil better. See if i can't crack 5.1 sec or less on air when it is all said and done. :D 5.544 sec Core i7 920 D0 on air Windows 7 64bit http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...prime32m_2.png |
