Any one have an Omega sound card or any experience with them.

Was looking at this one inpiticular for a PCI slot, looks liek a rebranded audigy card though ???

I never used a sound card so i wouldnt know, and plus i game half the time with sound off :laughing:

Omega is supposed to make great sound cards, but I don't know about that one. The Claro is supposed to be the bee's knees. Asus cards are what everyone is pimping right now, but that's the $200 xsense STX/ST with headphone amps. HT Omega use the C-media chips like Asus instead of creative stuff.

I'd like to try that one. Their drivers are supposed to be great too. I really really want me a Essence STX. Guess I'll just make do with my X-FI Titanium Fagality edition for a while longer.

Got my xfi POS working, but now it is a matter of pricipal ........... :laughing:

this is better for gaming than the Omega my friend, it's all in the chip. Music? There isn't a better card under $100 than the OMEGA, you and I feel the same about Creative so excluding their efforts lol.
