I managed to squeeze a few more MHz out of the old 920 tonight without any trouble. It may go higher. ;)

Got #64 now of 807......a pretty good improvement, but I really want to get 5.34GHz.

My voltages were:
cpu - 1.575
qpi - 1.5
ioh - 1.2
ich - 1.54

Trying a couple things now. Lowered the ich for starters. Back in a few........edit: tomorrow

verrry nice work bro

Hella nice job :)

Guessing that ICH is not really ICH v if you need 1.54 voltage. LOL Wouldn't it be nice if every motherboard manufacturer followed Intel specs. *sigh only the little ones do.

I think you're explanation in post#80 was right. I've got 7 voltages I adjust in bios......

at the top there is:
cpu
cpu-pll
qpi
dram

and at the bottom:
ioh
ioh pci-e
ich

I tried setting ioh and ich to ~1.25 and it wouldn't clock as far.....I'm pretty sure.

I got my starting voltages from this picture from Splaves post #26.....I've been making minor adjustments from there.

EDIT: look at ocgmj submission 4 cores/ 8 threads with 22x. How did he do that?

I believe he was on the e758 evga vanilla that would freak out under high bclk and sometimes throw you a 22 multi lol!

It is in Splaves picture, but I never had it enabled. Were you using spread spectrum Splave?

Splave 04-11-2011 07:08 AM
