I am getting close to the limits of Phase. Having a real hard time getting wPrime to finish now.
Also I have to boot in at a lower OC because XP booting really puts the hurt on the Phase. So once I get this 4.8ghz nailed down good I will move over to Cascade and see what that will do. |

1. 4.1ghz is stable @ 1.5v with Prime95 for a few hours, when i try too boot 4.2 nothing even with 1.55v nothing 2. Same goes with my Northbridge , 2800 is stable but 3K wont load the OS |
4.8 GHz, good job :toast:

load temps are 47C
you think that's are it ? |
I don't know, it is possible. I have heard people say as little as 45C but that was not my experience. (but I also never ran anywhere near that high of a NB speed).

Your Probably right, i need to lower my temps. Might need to go with water and throw the rad out the window

These are the settings I used for my 4.2ghz benches. Very stable and works great with the Mega Shadow.
As all kits of RAM/MB/CPU's are different these setting may not work for you. My Memory is the Dominator GT 2000mhz 8-8-8-24 kit for X58. So I binned 2 of the best sticks out of the 3. This was several days of tunning to get everything just right. I became good friends with MemTest LOL. There is still a little bit more speed in here I can feel it :) Plus I have done more tweaking as I moved up in OC, some of the voltage settins have changed also. Gotta work on my watermarks :) |
