No such stores around here and I have dvd roms, just not SATA. If you can find something else to try though I'll try it.

I didn't realize a brand new internal dvd burner sata is only 25 bucks. I don't even have 25 bucks though. I hate being broke. Not many things I hate, but that is definitely 1 of them.

Yep, a cheap dvd drive would have been worth it to avoid all the frustration. :good:

grub4usb is essential. Best way is to convert your XP installation disk into ISO format, then copy it onto your usb flash drive when you have made it bootable.
