hey guys, got a quick question...
when i am running spi 1m it'll lag/jump like that... SuperPi 45sec 406ms SuperPi can't get it low enough where i like it to be and being stable at the same time :argh: PiFast 66.06 sec CPU Frequency 2589.32 mhz wPrime 32m 68sec 531ms wPrime 1024m 2199sec 484ms ^ what i worked on for the last 2 days |

So are you getting a 7970 ? I want one but I just got the 580 lol I'm thinking of getting some older cards but idk I don't wanna add to the pile of dead ones I already have  |

i call that one hacks

So are you getting a 7970 ? I was going to, but with my board down I am out of the hunt for the foreseable future, sucks as I wanted to make a run at the top 100 in the league ......... no body seems to know anything about the 06 debug here or any other forums ??? calling Asus tonight when I get home, praying they can help as I can't justify investing in this platform again and sandy-e is not all that and rediculosly expensive ATM Older cards are great, but with only one winner for each card it makes little difference in the big picture for team boints, baring a huge jump. The big deal with this revision is deversity, they claim this is to help smaller teams and sharing, but larger teams with a more deversified hardware base still have a huge advantage :Dizzy: What are they thinking ....... The new rev makes the GPU strength list obsolete. I will have to start a new HPP's list to include hardware that has not been benched by our team yet. But truth be told big Al is on it. AMD is our weakest area in this reguard. |
^^^^
Why i've decided to sell my Lightning. Theres no sense in spending time or money on something thats not going to be beneficial. There are many things to consider when buying these days. You will get hardware points but we roll as a team around here. The 7970? Well again it's who's got the money and has the best chips to run it. Anything after that are just user hardware points. They really did mess it up. |

You can still get all the globals out of it.
The top GPU and CPU will always hold the global cards as previous scores will have less value as beaten by new gen, Ran by sponcers and set up to benifit sponcers .... LOL so the new cards and CPU's are a must for top level competition still. Now to maximize boints all levels of each gen will be required to exploit the system. Ran by sponcers and set up to benifit sponcers .... you see if you really look at the numbers it is set up for one thing and one thing only. benifit the sponcers ......... I look at it as the just re-malched the playgound .......... lots of splinters when it is new and it stinks repeat hardware is only good towards team total if said result is in your personal top 20 and if second only 10% and top 15 globals 100% The the way I am looking at buying now for personal gain is simple Globals = total/15 Hardware = Total/20 My case for example 166.3 Globals = and average of 11.08 (Keep in mind this is an average) So looking at hardaware in that scence I need to be able to do better than 11.8 for global revunue as of today to be worth my money 383.6 = and average of 19.18 and better than 19.18 for hardware GPP's and HPP's are only awarded to the top, this is where hardawre diversity comes in Fro team boints it is real simple, just buy something no one else on the team has benched yet If eveyone on the team grabbed a card that no one else has benched yet, it significantly boost the team total as opposed to everyone going out and buying the same card and only realizing HPP's once and 10% of hardware I think this is right but still trying to get my head wrapped around this If it is correct I have to hand it to them, this is the best system yet for maximizing corprate profits .... simple marketing genius |
anyone with a masters in algebra? lol
|
No, but I think EtherReal is an English teacher
