I shaved 20 seconds off my time just by switching OS as well as ran it with looser timings in the TaiServer. Will be using it again when I get my 2600k up and running.

Latest spi32m run, shaved another 3 seconds. |
Nice going there OCM, Can you post your settings?, got a Gigabyte setup, dont wanna waste days trying the settings. Already got to 4.8Ghz within the first 10 minutes of booting the setup. Had to leave for office after that. Ocing is like childs play on the SB. So do I need the settings?? Guess will like to savor the labour, :P

Batch L041C106 # 0815 http://i464.photobucket.com/albums/r...HEMI/2600k.png Well, thats about all I've been able to do with this chip so far. Still working it though. Having issues booting at x54. |
Its a different chip or the same one as before OCM??? How did you boot above 100bclk if its with the same chip??? Sadly I exchanged my chip which was able to boot at x53 multi and the present one cannot boot at x53 even at 99.5 bclk, lol
|
Its a different chip, got it today. Updated post.

So what happens when you try 54 multi? What I mean is how far along the boot process does it get? To the bios screen, windows log on or does it not even post?
|
It reverts to 3.4ghz. Same thing my last chip did @ x53 without lowring bclk.
