Unfortunately not stable enough to run spi32m.

Tried vdimm 1.66v-1.8v. Fan on the Rams. Actually haven't been able to run 2133+ in spi32m at all.

What VCCIO and VCCSA are you running?

This RAM I have is not very OC friendly LOL Or its SB platform :S

I have my SA at 1.15 and IO at 1.275 to get 2133-2200+ stable. But I am also running up to 104 BCLK

DrNip 01-24-2011 01:17 AM

You need to try the TaiServer OS.

rickss69 01-24-2011 01:22 AM

I shaved 20 seconds off my time just by switching OS as well as ran it with looser timings in the TaiServer. Will be using it again when I get my 2600k up and running.

hey OCM you have display drivers installed? If not you should :)

Splave 01-24-2011 04:37 AM

thats actually a pretty nice run for no wazza and your slow ass ram speed. :D No offense, seems to be a gigabyte issue atm. have you tryed f7d?

add some nice subtimings, wazza and you should hit 6:19 6:20 or so

DrNip 01-24-2011 04:48 AM

Looks pretty good to me too.

I couldn't get waza done before crash. @ 7-7-7-21 was only stable for less than 10 min. Tried over and over again to get a waza run in to no avail. After screwing around for hours and being to stubborn not to change my timings I called it a night.

Nice going there OCM, Can you post your settings?, got a Gigabyte setup, dont wanna waste days trying the settings. Already got to 4.8Ghz within the first 10 minutes of booting the setup. Had to leave for office after that. Ocing is like childs play on the SB. So do I need the settings?? Guess will like to savor the labour, :P

Well, thats about all I've been able to do with this chip so far.

Still working it though. Having issues booting at x54.

thebanik 01-31-2011 08:28 PM

Its a different chip or the same one as before OCM??? How did you boot above 100bclk if its with the same chip??? Sadly I exchanged my chip which was able to boot at x53 multi and the present one cannot boot at x53 even at 99.5 bclk, lol

OC Maximus 01-31-2011 08:48 PM

Its a different chip, got it today. Updated post.

DrNip 02-01-2011 02:09 AM

Great one OCM. Give it more vcore then try 54, lol!

Splave 02-01-2011 09:21 AM

DrNip 02-01-2011 11:22 AM

Never EVER buy a used clocking chip unless it is a team mate :)

Shrink wrap = saran wrap and a heat gun :P

Fed #2 upto 1.65 vcore and tested x54, x55,x56, and x57. Looks like she's capped at x53. This chip does need less vcore to run stable than #1 chip. With 1.52v she is rock solid @ 5.3GHz, the last chip needed 1.55v for 5.2GHz.

Sold #1 to afford #2. Kinda risky but it worked out. Gonna 3D bench this one for a little while before going for #3.

DrNip 02-02-2011 08:38 AM

So what happens when you try 54 multi? What I mean is how far along the boot process does it get? To the bios screen, windows log on or does it not even post?

OC Maximus 02-02-2011 08:50 AM

It reverts to 3.4ghz. Same thing my last chip did @ x53 without lowring bclk.
