seen some reviews not worth the 1000 price tag
|
yea no 50% to 70% increase for sure, more like 30% to 40%
But it is still the fastest single on the street Pre orders for the Asus flavor are sold out until March 21st at the egg :ohcrap: |
wish i had that kind of bank flow i would buy 2 seems drivers need alot of work on 3 lol
yes fastest but maybe HD 8000 come out this yrs or not  |
AMD is sitting this one out, 4th quarter release but only 10 to 15 percent increase, But when Maxwell puts the hammer down in the second or third quarter of 2014 it will be all over for the small chip maker other than consule chips .........
This post was rendered on basless facts ............ Seriously though AMD needs to find something as they will need to get more money than simply a mid line card will produce |
After surfing the review sites and what the reviews have in common i have averaged their results
680 vs. Titan All results are in the Titans favor 3DMark 20011 = 50% faster Metro 2033 = 56% faster FC3 = 45% faster BF3 = 45% faster with the Titan a 1k and the 680 at 500 the pricing for this cards actually scales fairly I did not do extencive research on SLI and Tri SLI but what I did see the Titan looses value with SLI and tri SLI is just stupid unless you are sporting 3x 30" IPS displays that 3 of them will push with playable framrates A lot of talk out there saying these are overpriced so I wanted to see for myself. turns out they are priced spot on with the current industry standards. at 1 to 1 All with POS pre releae drivers ... what will happen when they start dialing these beasts in ??? |
The new gen has always replaced the last gen in price this us 8800GTX all over again :P
|
This isn't the next gen .......... :ohcrap:
Thinking a refresh will be optimized GK104 and not a GK110 and if so 10 to 15 percent at the same price point, That being said instead of an eaqual value if they hit the streets at 5 bills they would be a better value Still though 2x 680's will beat the Titan, Of course it would run out of slots in a pissing contest  |
It's a disgusting amount of money for a gpu thats pretty much not worth it except for the bot imo. That kind of power isn't close to being needed in any application that the general pc population uses. Or is it.

It's alsmost a requirment for 3D and suround set ups
I would like to sport two of them in my current build, but doubt I will be able to afford it ...... :ohcrap: Although from what I am reading haswell will still get beat in multi core aplications such as Crysis 3, video editing, Revit and Solidworks With new gen consules coming, hold on their will be a new bar for hardware as fianally the game developers hands will be untied. We may see some real revelutinary things going on with gaming in the next year, Don't have Crysis 3 yet , but my 580's don't stand a chance of running it in 3D .......... May end up staying with SB-E , that could free up funds to sport 2x Titans .......... Right now on a single 140mm skinny rad I am rock solid at 4.5 , thinking with 2 x 480 rads may be able to get it to 4.8 24/7 to push them |
My wallet still hurts from the old 8800gtx Ultra era.
