they are all pretty beat up, idk if this is a big deal or not....seems strange

GFDuke 06-05-2012 10:24 AM

Did you get them from the Egg?

Splave 06-05-2012 10:27 AM

no supe rbiiz, there are no notches or scatches on the side hold downs so that is promising

GFDuke 06-05-2012 10:33 AM

They look like they've been used. Whats the wafer #'s.

It could just be marks from the stamp. If all 3 are 7ghz i'll buy one. Loool

DOM 06-05-2012 10:46 AM

i would bench them with out the socket braket and send them back if they suck

Splave 06-05-2012 10:55 AM

lol within 5 minutes of my email super biiz called and said they would look into it for me and check the warehouse, pretty good customer service!

GFDuke 06-05-2012 11:05 AM

Yea thats cool. I've bought a few chips from them in the past. Only thing i don't like about them is they use mandatory signature shipping. It's a bitch to try and be home when UPS shows up.

BenchZowner 06-05-2012 01:25 PM

Don't worry about these marks Splavezor, they're present on many boxed chips, not used ones ;)

Splave 06-05-2012 01:28 PM

Guess I was just concerned that the other 10 did not ;) any ideas why some are thrown across the floor at intel before packaging? they will be the first to deny me rma because of scuffage lol
