POS can't even carry the tool box of my old (B) batch 920)

hitting the wall @ only 4.958 Ghz .... running -44.5C

Pretty much treating it like the 920 and only 2:8 divider so the memory is not even being pushed ....

Played with it for about 3 hours yesterday .... was unable to outdue my 920 on SPI and PI fast .... but hoping for more clock ... hoping to get some settings dialed in by weeks end or my Saturday dice session will need to be moved back :ohcrap:

what am I missing to all you 960 owners out there ?

How does this chip besides the multi and it being a Vcore slut differ from the 920 ?

my evga was capped @ 4.9ghz before i realized the mobo had bad condensation at the back...

i would try the higher multi my 920 can get 5+GHz on the ss but only in slow mode

you arn't kiding my friend 1.56 to boot at 4.75 ....

afraid to put 1.6 in it as I can ill afford to lose a $ 539.99 chip ......... :shock:

may roll with 1.61 on Dice and see what happens .....

Impossible on my set up .... did pull the chilly three times to make sure I was getting good contact and to see if any water or ice was forming in the socket ....

not even a drop or crystal .... I wish there were as that would be easier to fix than just a lame ass 500 $$$ A batch POS intel carbon copy hunk of effin crap that my old e8600 could eat for lunch ... ....
