I did not spend a lot of time looking into clarkdale after I read about how they sucked. Anyone here have some real experience with them?

kay now u guys are making me apprehensive....should I go with the clarkdale or the lynnfield?

go with Clarkdale, lynnfield is only good at the absolute top where coz of its higher clocks thru LN2, can do some damage in pifast, superpi and wprime......with clarkdale as suggested earlier if not something else atleast wprime boints will be in ur bag........

talk to him a bit last night on the phone, looks as though he hit 6.2ghz 1.85v for 7.900 wprime 32m :) and he has yet to do the cbb mod lol! Amazing :shock:

on my sdump beast cascade (in my living room :laughing: ) managed 5.8ghz pi1m pifast and 6.0ghz cpu-z valid and just 5.5ghz for wprime 32m but I was a little easier on the volts at 1.75vcore. Now that I have a baseline its time to kick it up. Load temps and idle temps on the 2stager were -120 to -128 the whole time :D
