here were my results... Mind you guys these are ati runs on stock air... I have the screenshots but theyre at home.... I have no nvidia cards so this is all i can offer, not to mention i had a 4870 die shortly after :(
Multi card: and i was at 4199 mhz but 3d01 does something funny when you lower the multi http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=9504824 Single card: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=9504826 |
Holy .... you guys are freaks..
single card scores in the 80K range is insane. (Shakes head walks away and vows to learn how to 3d Benchmark) |

The seem to be the card for 01, and I'll just throw this out there but eVGA X58's Classy/Vanilla are not the boards to hit peak potential in this bench. Too loose imo.

Got my single 280 up in the 81k range, needatweekawiddlebit2nite, just to loose to my 285 brotas.
|
Yep that is the thing with 3D benches. They are too GPU influenced and it all comes down to who has the better GPU not the better overclock skill. Well it might come down to who has the better overclock skill if the setups were the same. A 285 against another 285 or somethin similar. Who knows, oh Nip here might have somethin up his sleeve or some jedi/ninja trick to unleash. Or maybe just a dancing pickle.:pickle:

From what I was seeing dual GPU only scores approximately 1k more than single with the limiyed CPU speeds. The i7 is definately not the board for this bench with limited clocks. I may have to get the RE set up and running with the QX9650. Might even brek out a 280 for single card action.
New score posted to help motivate you people. Now I want to see that 90k. |
Just slipped a 82340 single in there with the supposed junky 280, lets see how long Rev lets it lie.....YodaRevMaster is patient,....sometimes.....:alien:

Hey Nippy...nice score man, killer 260 action and definitely hanging in with the 280/285's.
Couple tweaks and you got it! |
I have a feelin I am gettin to the upper roof on this puppy. Wish I had a pot as I would wipe this category clean or at least I would like to think. Goin to give her a few more runs. Just need to decide, 2 - 4890's or 1 - 285?
|
Just go balls out on 2x 285's ;)
|
Nip, gotta put the details tab with the fps listed homie. Sry to bear bad news, I know how frustrating it can be to pooch a screeny. Check ur post :(
|
Fcuk!!! I knew I was forgetin somethin.
|
Who's the lop, I'm the lop. Let me go do some clean up work.

Why I will never run nVidia. After that LOD BS that happned a few years ago. Pulled it again recently with that bullshit CSAA, thinking eveeryone was on LCDs and would not notice the lack of color smaples psshaw Cheaters suck |

Mine still has all the colors when I run it. Either way I ran a 81607 single run just to biff it on the screen shot too. On CPUz I didn't have one on the memory tab. Can't recreate it again either.
|
Sli 285's turned out to be a disappointment. No increase at all, maybe even a deficit.
|
I only get about a 2,000 point increase with sli enabled.
