Witchy, just use inspector, 1.231v is the standard max voltage with it.

Witchdoctor 04-11-2011 01:49 PM

I'll give it a go George,

Yesterday my 570 on every test i run it (3dmark06,03 etc ) went up to 86c :ohcrap: and
2 times pc shutdown because of the temperatures of 570.

Anyone else has a problem with temperatures ? or might setup the fan at msi afterburner to higher rpms now thats overclocked.

GeorgeStorm 04-12-2011 12:11 AM

What are you running the fan at?
I always run mine 100%, lower temps over noise anyday.

Spank 04-12-2011 12:33 AM

I have it on auto at the moment. Maybe i should set it at 100 % when im benching

GeorgeStorm 04-12-2011 12:49 AM

Why wouldn't you?
There are no downsides, especially if it's only while you're benching, who cares about the noise, the whole point is you want to keep the card as cool as possible ;)

Spank 04-12-2011 01:30 AM

Exactly and thants what im gonna do :)

Kal-EL 04-12-2011 01:40 AM

You'll get more efficient gpu clock cycles the cooler you keep the card. When the gpu gets hot it has a throttling effect causing performamce to drop off.

You wanna run 100% fan a few minutes before the bench to give the temos a good running start at the benchmark :)

Keep at it bro, you'll get the swing of things in no time flat ;)
