Cool!
Ummm...Real-temp says -7s....when I run prime it dabbles into the low single digits. I have Tiny7 installed on this HD.....but I installed it on the CHIV and it just happens to work. Shall I reformat before I go any further? |
prime is for ...ummmm
wprime1024 ....is for benchers... |
I wanted to see 100% load temps. Prime comes to mind. I've never checked the load% while running wprime. I will now though.
Going to reformat that drive right after I eat. |

I was about to and then Windows loaded unexpectedly so I figured I'd play around with it.

hey bro, played with it a bit, at -30c or so this will get you 5ghz as a base for cpuz benching :) turn qpi mode back to fast for other benching. Boot 220x21 and up in windows.
Then just go from there, boot up raise clocks 1bclk at a time and see where it freezes.....add 2or3 pci-e mhz see if it helps...add some vtt see if it helps....add some vcore see if it helps....then add some more pci-e mhz etc. 225 to 238 bclk was a matter of raising pci-e from 108 to 115. You need eist enabled for turbo to be enabled for x21 multi. Good luck man  drop any questions in the thread |
Save your memory tweaking until last...you will be fighting on too many fronts if not.
|
Thanks I think I can work with that.....looks like I need to (EDIT:re-download) and reburn my Tiny7 though for some reason windows files will not expand.

OK here's a question for ya.....why does it drop back to a 12x multi?
I set everything like you said except for only 1.68v on the borrowed memory and it booted right up to ~4.6-some GHz, but now it's back down to a 12x before I could even take a screenshot. I thought I read that I should have the DRAM voltage .05 higher than PLL or something like that......don't want to damage the goods. Know anything about that? EDIT: WOW spi in 8.8 seconds first run.......that's like 2 x 1090T...........LOL |
It's because you have EIST enabled...try it without it for effect.
