Wierd Honda, @ 6.3ghz it should be an easy slide into sub 7 territory. Are you using an SSD or something? sp1M runs much slower on SSD's. Those timings are sick too man at 666.

Did you install the OS with both sticks installed or just one?

Cuz I just found that out today, I switched out my Intel Super Fast $800 SSD for a Velociraptor and went from a best 12.391s 1m time to a 11.875s 1M time. Same stock tweaked settings. Co-incidence? I think not.

Also, I couldnt do any pcie mhz past 110mhz with the SSD, I can now do up to 118mhz on the pci-e with the velociraptor. My efficiency went way up.

Any other theories why the big difference?

Kal-EL is right :D

SSDs are slower for 2Ds . Better run 1M and 32M on raptors :D

Kal.. did you disable Disk Indexing on your ssd? Or should i say what tweaks did you do to your ssd? Page file, LSC, etc. I'm interested in this theory and i want to dig a little deeper into it.
