remove IHS is really easy on IVB just remember not to dig Razor into Green PCB area of Chip.... keep it level or even point up a lil if possible.... the black is just like a rubber/silicone = easy to cut through once started the razor should just kinda glide through it nice and smooth.

also standard clear silicone will work fine but remember this stuff is not cement so can be cut off just like the black stuff :)
just dont use too much as some silicone can expand slightly and dont wanna make IHS contact worse than before... If going for bench I would say leave IHS loose and hold on while loading so can be remove as needed. |

^ just benched on ln2 and its worse lol I wouldnt do it dude. 20mhz less cpu-z and not even 6.4ghz 1m stable at same volts lol oops
It could be because I ran out of gelid and had to use this no name paste between the pot and ihs....I hope thats all it is. |

I never used gelid before so hope for better results I got 5 tubes :) |
