So I did my first SB Ln2 session last night an it was a complete fail. I know SB dont scale on Ln2 that much, but I wasnt able to beat anything I did on air. Raising vcore, vccio or cpu pll
didnt help. It seemed like the cold handicapped me. The mount was good upon taredown, that was my only suspension of what could have been the issue. So can you have a crap chip that max's out on air? |

so its not much more oc i can get on cold on the ss i can run 4c8t on water i cant so thats the big advantage |
Hey gutters what temps?
I use 1.685 core .85 vccsa 1.125 vccio 1.5 vpll 1.75 dimm Right around -30c on ln2 What kinda codes you getting? Sometimes it will say oc failed but will keep the speed and press f1 to bios then esc out without saving changes and it boots. |
I tried from -15c to -90c I didnt notice any codes when it says OC failed.
It does a OC fail once every boot cycle maybe twice but then will boot with same settings run fine then. That can happen even on a 4200mhz overclock too not just max clock. These are my max air settings 104 bclock 54x vcore 1.57 vccsaio 1.11875 vccsa an vccio are tied together on the z as far ad I read. ??? Dram 1.65 cpu pll 1.8125 Here is a bios shot of the Digi VRM/Power tab are these rite? http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e1...1218110708.jpg http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e1...1218110649.jpg The rest of my settings http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e1...1218105521.jpg http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e1...1218110759.jpg Tried auto on skew driving voltages to |
definately want to enable the extreme tweaking.
I also enable my bandwidth booster though I don't know if it helps or not :Dizzy: |

Gutterz, try this:
D/C overtemp protection Lower your vpll to 1.5-1.65v Increase dram to 1.7-1.75v+ Increase PCHv to the first yellow or the hightest white level |
