I'm in the same situation. Things blow in the construction bus. Everything went south for alot of people years ago. I think its finally catching up to me. Although I just picked up a nice bathroom remodel. So things feel a little beeter. lol. I think i took in around 5k in the last month. Pretty sad.

Guyz in talks with an overclocker in HK who says he has 5 x 5.73G 2600K chips (his team tested 400 2600K according to him). Witchy convinced me not to buy, lol, but after speaking to the guy, his logic of prices of 5.7G 2600K not depreciating much even after Ivy launch is pretty valid, so might bite, but wanted to let you guyz know of the offer. Anyone interested can hook up for 500$ Shipped. He also has a 5.53 Ghz 3960X for 1400$.....

5 bench raped 5.7Gz 2600k chips or only tested for Max CPU-z and then set aside?

I guess just checked for CPUz coz according to him, they got 2 x 5.9G, a few 5.8G and around 20 5.7G chips. They sold all within team and overseas, only the 5 x 5.73G (One of these can do 5.78G but which one he does not know but all can do atleast 5.73G according to him) chips are left to be sold......Have kept the 5.9G chips as well which not willing to sell, :(

He says "All gurantee 5.7g+ for 3d benching, 3 nos. Guarantee 5.73g+"

Reference card needs modded for sure, best I could get stable was 1412/1790 :ohcrap:

No XP runs, can't get a driver to work right .... ran out of talent I guess ...... :laughing:

You think AMD would have a decent driver for XP, had it working then tried a diffeent driver ......... Utter failure, 05 and 01 were disapointing .... need an XP partition that will hold the power slider in CCC +20% with out it, stability and throttleing are all over the place 50K in 05 and 102K in 01 :thumbdown:
