Fed #2 upto 1.65 vcore and tested x54, x55,x56, and x57. Looks like she's capped at x53. This chip does need less vcore to run stable than #1 chip. With 1.52v she is rock solid @ 5.3GHz, the last chip needed 1.55v for 5.2GHz.

Sold #1 to afford #2. Kinda risky but it worked out. Gonna 3D bench this one for a little while before going for #3.

So what happens when you try 54 multi? What I mean is how far along the boot process does it get? To the bios screen, windows log on or does it not even post?

It reverts to 3.4ghz. Same thing my last chip did @ x53 without lowring bclk.
