I dont have ln2 :ash1: i do what i can with what i can get lol....

Thank you though for saying i got a good chip :D

I was just busting your balls as i know i can prolly get 6200 from it on dice but my pot seriously blows :argh: not to mention you dethroaned me lol

Deanzo 06-28-2009 09:14 PM

Heres a fast 5Ghz+ shoot, I'll find some 6Ghz+ shoots later of other chips I've had.

very nice deanzo

Deanzo 06-28-2009 09:19 PM

Thanks, but that was only on dry ice and a UD4P, really should have used the UD5.
I'm about to start for the night with an RE2, keen to see how it goes with the same chip and dry ice.

Chuchnit 06-29-2009 02:01 AM

Deanzo that is very nice for dice. How close is that to 1m stable?

Dinos- You've had some very nice scores with that chip on the bot ;) I have to notice cause you're always on the front page :p

Deanzo 06-29-2009 02:43 AM

1M stops being stable soon after 5.3Ghz, real hit of miss runs.

I have just done a 32M run @ 5.25Ghz, but the time is alot slower than 5.215 on the Giga.
Not sure whats up with that.

GeorgeStorm 06-29-2009 06:58 AM

Hey, am new here
Heres my first run with my SS on my e7300
May have got better, but killed my board.......

Seein some nice clocks posted here!

3oh6 06-29-2009 06:27 PM

well if everyone else is going to show off...here is my collection of CPU-Z validations over the past year:

e8400 @ 5940MHz on LN2 - http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=419280
i start with possibly my personal favorite. i am still not done with this chip as someone had the nerve to go and beat my long time 32M top time for e8400 so perhaps when i get that back underway, i'll shoot for 6GHz validation with this guy.

e8600 @ 6250MHz on LN2 - http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=411739
i also joined the 6GHz club with this crappy ES e8600. this chip was never that good but got the job done so no complaints from me.

i7 975 @ 5565MHz on LN2 - http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=580070
another average ES chip that isn't that great compared to the killer W3570's out there but definitely not a complete dud like some other 975's. this is my highest validation for i7 so far.

i7 920 @ 5320MHz on LN2 - http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=558936
i lied, this is probably my favorite validation simply because there are only a handful of us running around with 5.3GHz+ i7 920's right now. not possible with anything but the Classified for me...love the board, love the chip. just wish i had an unlocked multi on this monster. i also love the fact that i can only validate 20MHz higher than i can bench 32M with it ;) *we've got a double Vick middle finger smiley here but no winky face? also, thanks for the thumbs up smilie

i7 W3540 @ 5139MHz on phase - http://3oh6photos.com/forum_post/och...893_3575-1.png
this is the latest i7 in my stable and looks to be a really good one. i have only had it for a couple days and just on phase so only -35C evap temp at the coldest with this guy. should be on LN2 by the weekend with some results. for those that don't know, i won this at the recent Michigan Meet at k|ngp|n's this past weekend. we had a little AM3 showdown and aside from Andre handing our asses to us on a platter, i handily took second. next time i will run something other than default GPU clocks and show the MI Master how it's done :D

An old DICE run, 5708Mhz with E8600

thebanik 06-29-2009 06:55 PM

Another old highly unoptimized Quad DICE run, LN2 way too costly in our country and they ask for like 1000$ security deposit for the dewar, :(

Mean Machine 06-29-2009 10:52 PM

Here's a few for ya:

(E6320 WR... Whoever cares: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=561347 )

Sadly, no validation for those first two, but all of these were under LN2.

I had an E8400 past 5GHz on air (with actual indoors temperatures) as well, but can't find any proof of that. :)

Crysis 07-01-2009 03:08 AM

OK, this may be a silly question, but does the CPUZ dump have to be validated? Reason I ask is that I've got a CPUZ file of my E8600 at 5.0Ghz, on Win Vista Business 64-bit SP1. Read up on some bugs that happen when using vista so my champion overclock isnt valid:D!

This is my first attempt :)

http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=588065

Like I said above, she's not validated...

Kal-EL 07-03-2009 08:04 AM

rbuass hasn't reported in yet but I couldnt wait to post this x-crazy arse cpu-z validation on his T-power with a Quad Core above 500fsb.

http://valid.canardpc.com/cache/screenshot/597155.png

Heres the Validation

Great Work rbuass!!!!! :good::thumbsup::D:eek:

Chuchnit 07-03-2009 08:05 AM

Oh sweet ass. Seems like he isn't much of a talker but a straight up bencher. I wonder if it will be valid for hwbot since he disabled two cores?

Kal-EL 07-03-2009 08:40 AM

Its over at the bot now. We'll see what the final word is soon.

Deux 07-03-2009 09:07 AM

This is my best CPU-Z so far, it's also the WR for the chip. Only a few others out there though so it not much of an accomplishment though.

I went through 3 different E8600s too and only one broke 6000, that one proceeded to wall at 6024 :argh:

Hopefully I'll have some 6000+ PII results soon.

It's valid even if it's only one core at hwbot.

Thanks. See you learn something new everyday. What about running a bench with disabled cores?

Again, valid.

If you're running a core quad, you should for most benchmarks.

And for anyone that doesn't know how, run msconfig-boot ini-advanced options (or buy a Nvidia board and do it in the bios)

hey 07-05-2009 06:22 AM

wow, i couldnt see any AMD on the first post ? you all intel guys ? :))

Holy shit!! I don't care ES or not. That's insane with all cores enabled.

Mean Machine 07-05-2009 08:02 AM

I need to get hold of a good mobo to see what my QX9770 will do. Tried it a quickie on the Rampage Extreme, screened at 5.7GHz+ with an old mousepot. :)

Woot my lazy ass hooked the REX back up and my 5705mhz was validated! Woot all time best and this was done with a pitiful mount :(

Not bad at all, but I reckon you can do a little better than that. Run at the 400MHz NB strap and the lowest frequency RAM you can run, if your board is any good, you'll fly past 650MHz FSB. ;)

The one I had for the MOA qualifiers did 685MHz or thereabouts with my E8600 (on a lower multi, unfortunately), but there's of course no validation of that. :P

Chuchnit 07-08-2009 02:44 PM

Well I'm sure I can. For some reason bios 0901 that I was running only likes the 333 strap 5:8 divider??? Most other straps I can't even boot no matter what I try. My mount sucked that session and I just spent about 20 minutes to get that. Maybe I'll bench this setup again sub-zero.
