A little better run. :D
RAM sucks at these speeds. Great cas 6 @ 1600MHz for $75 but that is about it. I need an ATX so I can run with my cas 8 2133MHz RAM. ATX mobo will net me a sub 6 run I do believe indubitably. Attachment 4513 |
1.696v? temps?
you're killing an absolutely awesome chip... :( |

oh well...

Luckily I had 3 1/2 days off this week due to winter storm and I benched with that free time. I usually don't have anytime at all to bench. I made the most of what time I did have because it won't be like this again.
|
give her what she needs :D
would be a shame to not bench such a cherry. |
Maybe safer under SS to keep vcore down.
Awesome chip dude. |
Nip got mad skillz..........
Nice work travis, milk that dog and retire it to the Crysis 2 cause when done Month and a half to go, 3/22 I beleive |

Hopefully when the mobos are re-released I can get an ATX and do some benching with my pot. Will be doing 3D benching the next few weeks ahead. I did manage to get 101 BCLK with 55 multi which tells me there is hope for my chip in overclocking the BCLK with high multi.

sub 6 looks reachable ..........

ps benched my work lappie for 6 golds lol w00t lets get 7 back!
|
On the titter totter on whether or not to buy a 2500k for my case and start piecing together a new benching set up with my 2600k being my 1st victim. All I need is a PSU, 2500k and a ATX P67. The mobo is what is holding me up because the new ones won't be out until April and by then the Z68 might be out by then. I found some places that are selling the Asus Pro ATX and what I have read there are no problems with it just like the Micro version which I have. Going to chew it over a little longer.

New Gskill's @ rated speeds of 2133 7-10-7-27 T1 knocked 3 more seconds off my best spi32m time. Now we're talking :D
SuperPi 32m - 6min 19sec 375ms - OC Maximus (OCAlliance) - (Intel Core i7 2600K @5326MHz) 13.5 + 3.2 points 28 Processes running and still in normal mode :P Still have to OC the ram and streamline the OS so still some work ahead of me. Thanks HC for helping sort out my initial ram issues ;) |
Have a set of them on the way from RMA

Is the tip to disable it? I thought we did that already...I recommended disabling it in my UEFI breakdown :) "Execute Disable Bit (XD) prevents some buffer overflow attacks by creating non-writeable pages in system cache. Extreme overclockers will disable this, 24/7 Overclockers can leave it enabled." I need to spend more time at XS :( EDIT: nm I found it. Hmm surprised more guys do not turn that off by default. |
I always disable it. I did see how HWBot put it on their front page like they were a bunch of genius's for disabling it, rofl.
|
They must have put it on the front page for noobs like me :P
