push it man, push it.....In my test, 2 chips I was able to take them to above 4800Mhz with HT off for 2d runs on air, and you have water..........

Chicken Patty 09-21-2009 03:17 AM

Thanks guys. I booted up at 4.2 ghz I think, they used eleet to go to 4.628ghz. When it crashed there (4.628 Ghz @ 1.388v i believe) thats it I stopped. I rebooted at 4.528ghz did the 3druns and thats it, booted again at 4.3ghz which is what i has been since for crunching.

I will shortly.

Chicken Patty 10-09-2009 08:51 PM

well not only bringing this thread back from the dead, but also got me a new best score. This is truly the max I can do with watercooling. Temps were almost 100șc. not willing to burn some silicone.

Thanks bro. I could have tried to tweak the RAM and stuff, but clock speed that was about it.

Kal-EL 10-09-2009 10:33 PM

Thank you man. That's the most this setup allows though with this cooling. What to get next? ;)

Kal-EL 10-09-2009 11:03 PM

More cooling?

Hehe, I maxed out at 4689mhz on air as well. Kept hitting 100c and throttle. So I reckon you prolly got lots more headroom on extreme cold.

Neuromancer 10-10-2009 04:11 AM

Very nice times :)

Chicken Patty 10-10-2009 08:15 AM

thanks guys.

I was hitting 100 with water Kal!

Well, I was enclosed in the fridge (sealed office with a/c turned down real low) so don't feel bad about you're water.

Remember a while back, we were discussing OCD. Well, it turns out Kal has it real bad. Incurable ! He's a regular LN2 junkie. He burns through the stuff like a fat boy goes through Smarties. The best part is he's dragging the rest of us down this path with him. :D

Kal-EL 10-10-2009 06:12 PM

Its just that when I see the hardware :confused5: I get these wierd compulsory impulses.
Next thing I know, something grabs a hold of me and :hand: next thing I know, I've hit the buy button and am out a whole lotta cash.

I am so jonezing for a sub-zero run but have to settle for these periodic drive by's on the forum. :morpheus:

Rogue210 10-10-2009 08:22 PM

 its a sickness that has us all drooling over his new toys and fostering the fever.....

Chicken Patty 10-10-2009 09:56 PM

yes OCD i remember that. Damn Kal has it really bad. He needs help and fast.

"KAL! Step away from the hardware now." Then I grab it and run

Rogue210 10-10-2009 10:02 PM

LOL CP I hope u run fast

Neuromancer 10-11-2009 05:22 AM

 hahahhaha. Dammit, looks like my watercooling won't be enough then

@ rogue, I do run fast, but after what Neuromancer just said, apparently Imma need NOS.

"I need NOS" - Paul Walker Fast and the furious. HAHAHAHAH, one of the many retarded quotes in that movie.

Kal-EL 10-11-2009 11:08 AM
