Not bad for such a long time.

Chiller is wired and insulated. Strapped the waterblock to my old sandy bridge setup. Here is some quick no load testing.

Room temp 22c
Loop is mostly Heet (methanol with a splash of antifreeze)
10 min from 22c to 0c
13 min = -10c
15 min = -15c
20 min = -20

Had the chiller running for 8 hour straight today.

Benched wPrime and Hwbot Prime.

Biggest load she took was during wPrime 1024M. Temp went from -21c down to -14c by the end of the bench.

She's a tough little beast. ;)

Very nice ! :)

methanol eh... what type of tubing did you use ?

OC Maximus 10-03-2015 11:31 AM

Standard Homedepot tubing. Zero issues at the moment. No breakdown last time I ran methanol and this tubing. Surprising to say the least.

Started screwing around with the expansion valve today, trying to make her colder, and lost the tune.

Currently tweaking her back to coldest unloaded temp of -23c.

Oh boy.

No worries, she is back on target at -23c. Took me 2 hours though, lol.
