Got an RMA in the mail, I was gonna reformat with another board then put my SSD'S back in and see but already had a number so.......
Your correct WD im playing BF3 on an Ivy bridge with two 580's, and its a world of difference compared to the SB-E. I'm not sure if its everything is so different but, I get stuttering when im being shoot? My 7970's never had a issue with the game, I may put them in this and see. I love BF3 but this set up makes me want to not even play no more.........Is there a BF3 patch for SLI micro stutter? I never had this issue before that I can recall, as I ran these cards prior to getting my 7970's. I was leaning towards getting rid of it, now I may keep it and sell my IB board. I got the AsRock Extreme 6 it seems OK, but nothing noticeable to speak of. Got the stock cooler on the 3570K

Yeah if I can ever make it to Buffalo from here I may do some D ice runs to see what i can get out of it, just so much else going on right now.

yea I came from a 2600K , night and day, BF3 does well splitting the duty between cores, no patch I am aware of for SLI, but never had the issue and I ran 2x 580's prior to the Titans .... ?

yea for gaming more cores = smother game play.

I run a 3770K @ 4.6, a single ssd and one GTX680 @ stock and I have never gotten stutter. I really see no need for SLI playing BF3. Even Crysis plays smooth as hell on this setup. It sounds like you might want to change video card drivers.

yea that could be it,

I know FarCry 3 had some sli profiles availible

I'm on my second driver's may try again, every time im in the game as soon as I get shoot it like delay reacts (the only way to explain it) like its lagging hard. I'll disable SLi see if it helps.

OK so far I used the 4.11 from 2012 same effect also the newest Nvidia betta drivers no go, only thing i can think of that could be an issue(im sure there could be others). Is im putting the drivers on a separate HDD not on the SSD the OS is on, not sure if this is the cause? But my SSD only has so much room and I want to keep 10GB free fer wat not stuff.
Thoughts suggestions, opinions................ thanks all!

PS gonna get the latest approved drivers an try them on the same SSD. Unless I get a better suggestion.

I would think the drivers have to be installed on the Os drive. and they really are not that big to take up a lot of room. What size SSD are you running?
