That sucks ..... I have had two drives die on me to ....

Getting to the point where you need four or five drives to back up data with the current drive build quality .....

Sorry about the GTX loss.... Sounds like it is dead to me .... I would just slap them on another system to see that will take your 980x out of the equasion

try them both by themselves, if they both run 3d okay then try switching the sli cable to the other fingers. what mobo you on?

I did try the other fingers as well as another bridge. This was on a 775 Gigabyte mb...next time I have something else thrown together I will check on another mb.
