Most small LCDs can be hooked up and run with Samaurize or other apps that will do much of the same thing. Although not nearly that cool :) And will take a bit more work to get going.

EDIT: Just realized his is a touch screen also. Very nice! Much more functional that way :)

Here is the main problem with things of this nature, getting the data to display. Many things like CPU usage is pretty easy, but try getting CPU temps or fan speeds. This was no easy task as every motherboard has its own way of doing this and in most cases its not something that you can just get into the BIOS info and get what you need.

Things like getting CPU temps from all the different motherboads is closely guarded and not available for normal users to write there own programs with.

We looked at many different ways of getting the data we want to display with programs like Fan Speed and Everest and others, but Everest has a way that we can do this with out having to purchase anything.

Samurize looks very good also but getting that data onto the LCD is no easy task.
