I would try RMA, they may refuse it, but it's worth a shot.

Oh!!!, generally there are no physical signs of damage and RMA is pretty easy hence said that damaged CPU is better.....sad, :(

OK Contest update.
After much discussion, we have decided to address the "ambient" temp issue. It doesn't feel fair to penalize anyone for living in a cold environment, although I don't believe that any of our members live in a 50f degree house. ;) goat. So we have decided that ac blowing directly on your bench rig or radiator (chilled water) is ok TO A POINT. Therefore NO submissions with a temp of lower than 15c on any core will be accepted. No warming up your system before a screenshot. Please do not f' up this contest by trying to gain an unfair advantage. Any of you can win this with good overclocking technique and a little patience. Carry on. |
Holy shat that's cold. I'll be lucky to idle in the 40's, hehe.

Well I dunno what to do as mine shows to be 18 degrees. It is almost 100 degrees here and all I gots is the A/C running. Nothing special going on. Hell the room my PC is in isn't cold at all. Just know I'm not running chilled.
