im about to go to sleep going to work 4-4 but might be doing it all week, so im going to do my best and hope its good enough cuz my 2 kids are not going to let me sleep all moring :(

Dont feel bad Dom I am not capable of hitting anything till 6+ PM EST Monday. That wont be a bench rig that will be my 24/7 system :)

i dont feel bad im going to feel tired if i work 12hrs all week did it once a few weeks back felt like i had no life and the baby is the one they kept waking me up she was hungry the lil piggy :laughing:

but what do you think my 24/7 system is my bench rig ;) im still paying payments on my rig :blush:

So this is an Intel based contest only? I say this as real temp is only for Intel chips. Maybe AMDer's could be allowed to use Overdrive instead or something else? I mean there is no way my AMDer could win in this contest but I would still like the chance too.

We can use a different temp monitoring program for AMD Nip, what would you suggest? The rules say any single proccy, so not Intel only.

CoreTemp often works for AMD.

cpuid hardware monitor works cross platform... Gives more than just cpu temps too... ;)

Coretemp and hwmonitor are popular choices among the AMD crowd. I think I've read that the concensious is a ~15c delta between hwmonitor CPU temps vs actual. So 50c on hwmonitor = 65c real. The problem is with where all the temp sensor is on the boards.
