I'm seeing a marked improvement in pron hardware photo shoots on this forum. Kudo's boys on bringing the bling on those tings! :good: |
Agreed. I am very pleased with the enthusiasm displayed in this contest. If you remember I made a comment awhile back that it just didn't seem like people were as enthused about overclockin recently like they were in the past. I will add to that comment that this contest seems to have resuscitated them. Hats off to ya my friend! :Hi:
This contest doesn't have my name on it like I would have liked but alls I gots to say is you guys better watch out for the next as I won't be crippled then! |
Standings Updated

Update on the Noob Party at my house. Rogue doesnt have access to the web while she's here (in the kitchen applying eraser and insulation to the GTX285. So I can sneak on the comp and tell you guys. :rofl
ohcrapShe accidentally broke a piece off the pcb and its dangling from the pcb. I resoldered it to the mobo (my first attempt at any such repair). Well, anyhow, she feels like total crap and is worried the card won't work once we mount it and fire it up. So she's driving all the way f'n home to pick up her GTX285 from her rig, hahaha, I told her it was no big deal. :taunt: To make matters worst, yesterday while dressing up the gpu for insulation a different piece broke off the pcb ohcrap but we figure it'll still run. Hey, we're still having fun learning tho :D Lemme upload some pics while she's gone: Heres yesterday's mishap (I found the broken piece on the worktable today  ) http://www.overclockaholics.com/Kal/...o/100_2598.JPG Heres the havoc from today: http://www.overclockaholics.com/Kal/...o/100_2605.JPG Heres Supes very first solder repair job and its ballz on boyz :scared: FIXED! (I hope): http://www.overclockaholics.com/Kal/...o/100_2607.JPG Go ahead and ROFL cuz its all good in the hood, live and let die they say  Wish us luck as we pursue you leaderboard people for funzy's. to_keep_order |

That’s a nice price! I usually fill up my 20L Dewar for $20-$30 depends on the mood of the dude. I mean ist cheap but it goes a little on my nerves that he is changing the price on me. :morpheus:  |
praxair sometimes has a good price if you have one local, and being such a large company usually will cut good deals.... now i just need a dewar dammit

Thought I might give this a go this weekend but have had driver issues.
Will see if I can work them out during the week for another go next weekend. |

4x GPU pots, 1xCPU pot. 1x shotglass. 480/6=80L per pot for one 12 hour session  Now that is extreme! |
I had my 280gtx running on LN2 and hit 980 - 990 core clock and running 01 with a score of almost 85K, then after a bucnh of runs and ready to screen shot it all I went crap, nature is over 1200FPS by 58 points.
So this noob has to learn how to run this bench the correct way :) But you guys with newer cards are gonna kill me anyway, but its the attempt and bench that counts :) Good luck Dino's, not that you need it ;) |
