:ohcrap: content repaired ............ LOL

I think we all will continue. You just have to wonder what will be next.
Bones and Scotty I would welcome an American Bot weighted properly for all competetors

So would I and if things do come together, it should be done so that what you earned doesn't evaporate. I don't think it's fair to take points away from folks who have honestly earned them, that's like having your points docked for an infraction.
No one that I know of at CP, here or anywhere else I visit has done anything to deserve it.

new rev is up........my score got worse beating than what the test server was showing........me sad, :(

One hundred and seventy point loss here....slipped from 8th to 10th in the US as well. Guess its time to gather the fleet's strength and set course for the bot system maximum warp...

Well, I guess it is what it is. New Year, New Rules, New Competition. The end of this year has been pretty rough on some of us and great for a few of us, on and off the Hardware Fields of battle.

One endeavor and pursuit we should never lose sight of is the retention of the quality relationships we develop on and off the field. Lasting relationships are what matters most to me personally. Jackfruits come and go, friends run it till the lights go out.

2010 here we come.

Well it seems to have gone live and all the milk has been spilt. For many of us there has been many boints lost and some have gained many.

Kal hit it on the head though IMO. I am just glad to be part of such a great community of people around here and on a few other forums.

I have said this before but it bares repeating in these times of change in the game we all so much like playing and I think this does some it up

Sometimes we lose sight of what is important but we all must remeber it is not as important the results of the game as much as the thrill of just playing

Time to move on and one day I am sure it will change again but until then we will persevere and have fun doing it.

It is go time and this new system is ours for the taking, we just have to refocus our individual strengths to maximize our full potencial

Yeah it is unfortunate that some have lost points at the the bot but the bot isn't the end all say all. I was into overclocking way before I registered at the bot and didn't start playing the bots game until about 2 years ago maybe? In a way I hate the bot as it made me spend more money on hardware than what I would have normally as there was a period that I just bought hardware for boints. What can ya do though? I'll tell ya, keep overclocking!

Bones 12-31-2009 10:39 AM

Good point Kal and happy to have signed up here.
No sense in letting something like this spoil the fun and I plan on continuing onward - You may suffer setbacks but hey, that's life in general.
You know, it's possible to do well within the new system too and at least give it a shot.

I can also agree with the jackfruit and friend analagy.

I have upgraded with OCing in mind and competition over the last few years, since I joined here though it got much worse LOL

Actually the only thing I miss about the i7 setup, was there is not way for me to compete in 3d without one. Even with one, it was tough to do. 2D global boints were pretty much the same. I can still do HW boints though.

I am glad that I never shipped off this AMD setup, since it is still kicking it and more than enough for gaming :) (Dragon age Origins I have yet to see CPU or GPU top 70% load when I monitor it on the second screen, which really surprised me)

Kal-EL 12-31-2009 04:41 PM

Yah, origins doesn't appear too taxing on the system.
