OS is only 2-3 weeks old and been run maybe 4 sessions. Was thinking driver sweep and enable 1 card at a time.

3D, also try moving the cards to different slots. Witchy has an AB that works pretty well for OCing with. Not sure on your set up or id offer more input.
Yeah I can't even get $150 for my PNY GTX 580, they pay $200 for an EVGA lol! Its the same card, oh well. That's why i don't have any new cards the prices went through the roof, not gonna spend $700 on a card. No sign of prices falling anytime soon.........

Well 1 anyone got hard mod for a 5870 lightning?
Got some CrossFire to work today!

3DMark05 - 56622 marks - 2x Radeon HD 5870 @ 1150/1300MHz
3DMark06 - 42695 marks - 2x Radeon HD 5870 @ 1150/1300MHz
3DMark Vantage - Performance - 41596 marks - 2x Radeon HD 5870
3DMark11 - Performance - 10538 marks - 2x Radeon HD 5870
3DMark11 - Entry - 15403 marks - 2x Radeon HD 5870 @ 1150/1300MHz

Aquamark - 420938 marks - 2x Radeon HD 5870

and the one last week with Tri-fire before my 1 of the cards started to shit.

Hes is talking about changing resistors to up the voltages Id assume, I read forward from the past to find it. Pretty much what you need is in that link, the resistors they use are adjustable(usually)

*vDDCI mod is must too... folks not seeing gains beyond ~1.25v though. I have not been able to monitor vDDCI for droop under load yet, but suspect capping might boost FPS in the same fashion PLL mod/cap works for 470/480

Hey Duke i saw that but it isn't for the lightning.

Found a guy name T_M that did 2 OCP mods and the Vgpu about halfway through this thread.

Which doesnt look too bad but somewhat hard to make out the mod points and the VR's he used.
