On deployment again. So far hit Guam for 3 weeks and currently in Korea. Pulled into Jinhae, aka Chinhae. Made the 5 hour trip and took the 300 kph bullet train to Seoul. Worth every penny. Listening to Daft Punk and sipping Soju at 7am in the morning. About to go explore some traditional buildings here the heading back across the country to the Navy base. Really want slap my nuts on the DMZ but just don't have the time this trip.

3 more months and I'll be back home in HI.

Enjoy your culture points a lot. Free world travel, just pay tourist taxes. Too many sea bags in my rack what with getting married and having kids first tour, I wish I had stayed in longer. The US government was happy to be rid of me though, I wasn't as 4.0 as they liked, or I failed the TSSCI test not sure which. Would have assumed the latter but they gave me secret...after talking to all the wrong people who remembered me and the right people who didn't :)

Hello all,

Got back from my second deployment with Greeneville a few weeks ago. Things went very well. Warheads on foreheads and all that good stuff.

Back in the first post on this thread in 2011 I quote myself.

Well my time finally came.

I'm very happy to be back. Only a few short months left on this sea tour. Looks like we will be staying here on Oahu for my final shore tour. Couldn't think of a better place in the world.
